Presentation- Essential Life Extension- Major Rehabilitation of the Main Parking Structures at the World’s Busiest Airport

Speaker: Alex Katz
Alex Katz is a Licensed Professional and Structural Engineer in Walker Consultants’ Atlanta office. He holds a master’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Texas at Austin where he performed research in prestressed concrete bridge girders. Alex manages a wide variety of structural assessment and repair projects for Walker Consultants. He enjoys taking on projects across a variety of structure types, providing his clients with innovative solutions, and forming relationships with colleagues in the repair industry. Alex has served as a Member of ACI Committee 563, “Specifications for Repair of Concrete in Buildings.” He is currently serving on ICRI Committee 210, “Evaluation” and sits on the Board for the ICRI Georgia Chapter. In addition to structural assessment and repair, Alex has also performed façade restoration services including rope access assessments skyscraper façades for a little more excitement.
