OKLAHOMA PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE
President's Message – 2025
Dear Colleagues and Industry Partners,
As we step into 2025, the concrete repair industry finds itself at an exciting and transformative crossroads. With the continued advancement of technology, evolving sustainability initiatives, and an ever-growing demand for resilient infrastructure, we are witnessing a new era of possibilities and responsibilities.
Embracing Innovation The integration of cutting-edge materials, digital solutions, and AI-driven diagnostics is revolutionizing the way we approach concrete repair. Self-healing concrete, advanced non-destructive testing methods, and predictive analytics are no longer concepts of the future—they are tools we have at our disposal today. As an industry, we must embrace these innovations, ensuring that they enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and extend the lifespan of our structures.
Sustainability and Responsibility Sustainability remains at the forefront of our mission. Governments and private sectors alike are prioritizing low-carbon solutions, circular construction practices, and environmentally friendly repair techniques. As stewards of the built environment, we have the duty to minimize waste, reduce carbon footprints, and promote solutions that align with global climate goals.
Workforce Development and Education The strength of our industry lies in the hands of our skilled workforce. In 2025, investing in education, training, and workforce development will be more critical than ever. Bridging the generational knowledge gap, adopting new training methodologies, and fostering a culture of safety and excellence will ensure our industry continues to thrive.
Looking Ahead The challenges before us—aging infrastructure, climate change, and regulatory shifts—are also opportunities for growth and leadership. By fostering collaboration across sectors, advocating for higher industry standards, and staying ahead of emerging trends, we can shape a resilient and innovative future for concrete repair.
I am confident that 2025 will be a year of progress and achievement. Let us work together to build a stronger, more sustainable, and forward-thinking industry. Thank you for your continued dedication and commitment to excellence.
Best regards,
Douglas Martin
